BPA is a compound that is commonly found in plastics that have found traces of a chemical that mimics estrogen. This chemical has the potential to harm the human brain and reproductive cycle. Another chemical was produced as a substitute of BPA called BPS. BPS was used because it has less of the chemical in it. The Pitcher should also feature some kind of certifications. This is where Private Label brands such as Amazon brands fail. A water pitcher should have a safety tested logo. Step #1: Filtration

#2 WellBlue Alkaline Plus PH Ionizer Pitcher

Another great water pitcher that I found out about is the WellBlue Alkaline Plus Water Pitcher. Usually this company sells Hydrogen Water Ionizers but have decided to venture into the water pitchers market.

Some of the things that stand out about the Alkaline Plus PH Ionizer pitcher is the fact that it sells pitcher that have and don’t have a timer. This timer calculates the correct time for you to change your filter so that you can have optimum filtration all the time. The only downside is that there is no warranty for the timer and if it is stored in a colder, or more moist area it can become defective

Some of the technology put  into the Alkaline Plus pH includes:

• High pH ratings (of up to 9.5)
• High ORP Reduction ratings of (-100 to -400 range)
• Reduces consumption of heavy metals
• Contains alkalizing minerals
• Filter lasts between 150 and 200 Liters (70 gallons)
• Water Flows through active carbon filters that remove chlorine, heavy metals, organic impurities, odor and other chemicals found within tap water

To get this water pitcher to work optimally there are a few guidelines you have to follow such as  

• Filtering a quart or less at a time
• Best when used frequently
• Dry out the filter only if you will not be using it for a few days.
• For multiple uses it is best to supply people with multiple filters or water pitchers

This alkaline pitcher gets high marks because it posts high marks in both the pH levels and ORP reduction ratings meaning it is a high quality filter. It’s price is also a bit more reasonable than say Cerra Water despite it posting close to similar numbers.

Where the Alkaline Plus pH lost marks was the fact that to get the best results you have to follow some specific guidelines such as using it to filter a quart or less at a time, has to be used every couple of hours for the filter to be at an optimum use. This is a kind of a lot of work that not everyone has time for in their day to day life. Cerra does not say anything about this so it is a lot more user friendly despite it’s price.

Having said this the verified buyer ratings are all mostly positive meaning that this product works well.

WellBlue Alkaline Plus PH Ionizer Pitcher gets an 8/10

#3 Amazon Brands (Dragonn, HoLife, Lake Industries)

 

Amazon is a great place to buy things that you want and need however it is not great for everything. One of the first things you will notice is that these brands are a lot cheaper than the Cerra Water Pitcher and the WellBlue Alkaline Plus PH Ionizer Pitcher. This is because these brands are private labeled and most likely get their materials from China which is why they are not FDA and TUV Certified.

Another thing you will notice is the fact that while reviews are generally positive there’s a lot of variance between these brands in terms of pH and ORP Reduction Ratings which are the strongest indicators to having an effective Alkaline Water Pitcher.  You will notice that none of them actually state what these numbers are because of this variance. This is also because there is not as much testing that goes into these brands as Cerra Water Pitchers and Alkaline Water Plus Pitchers.

These brands also do now have as much knowledge about these types of products. Most of them (except Lake Industries) sell products that are all over the map and do not have designated websites on them to properly inform the customer like Cerra and Alkaline Water Plus does.

While these brands are less expensive and more affordable it is less certain what you will get. The good news is that if you bought any of these brands from Amazon that you will have a good return policy.

Cerra did the best against other competitors due to it’s high PH rating, good ORP Reduction rating, it’s infusion and varirous certifications including the German TUV which holds plastics to higher industry standards.

Where it did loose the most points was it’s price. It is by far the most expensive water pitcher from the list. To be frank this turned me off to this pitcher as well until I learned that it is BPA/ BPS free.

You see something that alot of private label brands neglect to mention is that their water pitchers contain BPS and BPA. BPS and BPA are compounds that are commonly found in many different kinds of plastics that mimics estrogen. Simply put our bodies are not mean’t to have these sorts of chemicals inside out bodies as it disrupts the way our cells function which leads to metabolic disorders down the road. 

After knowing this I would gladly pay more for a water pitcher knowing that I would not be putting harmful compounds into my body.

What about Electrical Ionizers?

Electrical Ionizers are machines that purify your water and make it alkaline by ways of electricity.  It is used to increase the pH of your water and decrease Oxidation from your water. What they also do is add bad EMF’s into your household which in my mind is comuter productive. If the device is electrical and it does not have any shielding components to it than it is giving off bad EMF’s of some degree.  This is also true for hydrogen producing ones as well. 

My Cerra Alkaline Water Filter Review

After ordering a Cerra Water filter I decided to follow the process of activating the cartridge recommended on their site.

I first soaked the cartridge under water for about 30 minutes and ran the cartridge through two pitchers of water to start. I noticed the film that was above the water When I first filled the pitcher, it made me not want to think what substance caused the film collected on the surface thats for sure!

Throughout the process of running the water through the pitcher I noticed how much cleaner the filtered water was.

To really test the Cerra Pitcher I decided to use it when my body needed it most, after working out. With my old Brita Filter I was just drink the water to hydrate but never really felt any noticeable difference after drinking it other than well, being hydrated with water.

I did my first taste test and it tried a glass out. Upon first inspection the water tasted a bit different. I contacted customer support about this and they assured me that there was no chemicals in the water and that it was because there was a greater release in magnesium. 

I found this to be true as I when time went on the taste was less noticeable. Despite the different taste I found a great boost in energy and did not feel fatigued. I also noticed that for short periods of time it gave my body the nutrients it needed even when I was not eating food. This allowed me to get more things done during the day and improved my overall mood.

Another thing I found which I found extremely interesting is when I had a bit too much of a good time (in this case whisky) the next day I was not feeling all too well to say the least. I decided to do an experiment and try some of the Cerra Water to try and hydrate. After eating a bit of food and drinking two glasses of water I was starting to feel a lot better.

My headache was decreased greatly, my overall grogginess and lack of energy was disappearing and I started to feel like the hangover never happened.

Cerra Water gets a 8.5/10 in my book because it helped me increase my productivity and well being throughout the day. It only loses a point because of the original magnesium taste I had when I first tried it but this goes away over time.

I paid $4000 for an electrical ionizer. My daughter would never drink the electrical ionized water because she didn't like the taste. Could it have been the chemicals that their electrolysis enhancers that the electrical ionizer put into the water that she was reacting to? The Review

I was intrigued by the Iyashi Zero Point Energy Chakra Stone because it was the first product I have heard of that you can cook with your food as well as use as hot rock therapy! Upon receiving the item much like the Iyashi wands, bracelets and pendants it came with a scalar energy energy card that you can carry around with you and a nicely designed case! I usually like cooking healthy meals that give me energy so after reading that the Iyashi Zero Point Energy Chakra Stone alkalizes as well as makes food taste better I was interested in trying it. First thing I did was put it in some rice that I made up. After following the proper rice cooking protocols I tried it out and it actually had more of a taste to it! Rice in general is usually somewhat bland but after cooking with the chakra stone it had much more of a taste to it! I also felt more energised because of the antioxidants added.

Next I tried cooking it in boiling water and using it for hot rock therapy. I liked this idea because the benefits of hot rock therapy include muscle relaxation, pain relief and improved circulation. Couple that with Scalar Energy and Negative Ions and the effect is greater due to negative ions going into your body to neutralise positive ones which helps improve blood circulation and cellular respiration. After letting the Chakra stone cool slightly, I lay on the couch and put it on my back at about the place where the Solar Plexus Chakra is located and lay down for a half hour. I pulled my back while  awkwardly reaching for a puck playing hockey the other day and needed some pain relief so I wanted to try this out to see if it was the real deal.  After 30 minutes I got up and noticed a similar effect as the Healthy line Mats in that the tightness from the back pain was gone and it felt like I had just come from massage in that the inflamed area was relaxed and did not bother me for the rest of the day. Overall this product met and even exceeded my expectations, my own qualm was that it’s not as portable as the wands and pendants that this same company makes but it makes sense as bigger product + more negative Ions= Better Healing power!

As you can see from the best scalar bracelets table it is not the best scalar bracelet around but it is almost half the price of it. My Results

I also noticed that the Bio Magnetic Bracelet featured 1,000 to 2,000 negative ions per minute vs the 5,000 plus for the scalar bracelet. Curiosity got the better of me so I tried it out. I ordered the gold trim magnetic bracelet and received it less than a week later.

Upon receiving it I noticed that it was in a draw string pouch, within that pouch there was the bracelet, the resizing tool as well as a guide that showed you how to resize it. I followed the guide to make sure the bracelet was at the right length for my wrist. I tried it out for a week and did notice that it help me feel less brain fog and migraines then when I don’t wear any kind of scalar product however, I definitely preferred the energy from the Iyashi Scalar Bracelet as it helped me feel clearer due to the larger negative ion output. The Bio Magnetic Bracelet definitely helped me feel more clear and focused within that week but the energy level that I had was greater with the scalar bracelet. My Review

 

I ordered my Iyashi Negative Ion Scalar Energy Pendant directly from their website, I found that the price was very reasonable at a cool $66.45 CAD. Upon receiving it I noticed that similar to their Scalar Wands and Bracelets it came in a little black jewellery box.

When opened, the box contained a user and FAQ guide, the pendant along with a necklace and an Authenticity card which can also be used as a negative ion card that you can carry around you! I decided to try it out while working out. A lot of the times before lifting weights I often feel tired and a bit disinterested but I decided to change that by forcing myself to head to the gym and wear this pendant to see how if I could notice any differences.

Upon putting it on I noticed that I felt more focused energetic and balanced, almost clear headed if you will. This was a great change to how I normally am which is tired, and sleepy.

I first tried it on bench press and upon doing doing practice repetitions I noticed more focus and energy and felt a lot more balanced lying on the bench. As I go to my normal sets I actually was able to lift heavier than I ever had at 160 lbs doing 5 sets of 5 repetitions. Onto the next exercise which was squats. Back pain is a symptom that many people suffer with and as a result turn to unhealthy pharmaceutical drugs to relieve it. When choosing the right Healthy Line Mat There are several factors that come into play. With a wide depth and breadth of healing mats it can be confusing as to which one you would like to choose. Fear not! I made a simple guide that will help simplify your decision.

What Size Should I choose?

First thing when choosing the right Healthy Line Mat is what size to choose. The Mat I like the best is the large 76”X 32” Mats because they give you plenty of room to roll around if you take a nap however most of this is due to personal preferences which we state below.

• Small (20”x 20”)- Great for healing a specific part of your body such as legs abdomen. These smaller mats are more versatile in that you can pit them on a chair or couch or take them anywhere you go.
• Medium (32”x 20’)- Covers about half of your body which is ideal for resting on your back on the couch.
  Full Sized (72”x 24”)- This style of mat you can place on the floor. It covers an individual sized 6 feet and under which gives them a full head to toe spectrum of healing power.
• Large (76x” 32”)- For taller or wider individuals that may need more room than the full sized mats. These mats can also cover a full massage table!
• Specialty- For specific parts of the body comes as neck pillows and support along with knee and leg wraps, belts and vest wraps to target specific areas that may be bothering you.

What Crystals should I choose?

Healthy line Mats have 3 types of crystals to choose from. Amethyst, Jade and Tourmaline. Each has it’s own set of energy frequencies which affect your mood.

• Jade- Moderate Negative Ion level. This crystal is kind of an inbetween of Amethyst and Tourmaline. This crystal can also be unheated which provides a cool and relaxing agent.
• Tourmaline- Has the highest negative ion level of all 3 crystals. It is more of an energetic stone which is good for use throughout the day to keep your energy levels up.

If you are looking for a specific crystal you can choose any of the 3 above but you can also combine 2 or even all 3 for maximum healing frequencies. Coupled with far infrared heat there is no wrong choice as the energetic frequency differences are subtle.

What Flexibility Do you like in your Mat?

When choosing the right Healthy Line Mat flexibility plays a part of the decision. There are 3 different flexibilities

Soft- These mats are flexible and can be easily wrapped or rolled up. There is no stiffness to them so they can wrap around your body. They can also be placed on a chair or couch to form into a certain preferred formation.

Regular- Most of the Healthy line Mats have some stiffness to them but have a bit of bendability. They can be folded up for storage or placed on the floor or a bed. Most of the Healthy Line mats fall under this category.

Stiff- Only PEMF Mats are stiff as in they cannot be bent and need to be placed on a hard surface.
